Beginners boxing

What is beginners boxing?

This class will progress your boxing abilities and set you on the right track.

This type of workout is LISS (low intensity steady state) cardio based, doing pad work, punching and movement drills.

Cardio - Aerobic - Anaerobic - Resistance - Boxing Technique

When: Mondays 6AM, 6PM. Fridays 6PM

Duration: 50 Minutes

Price: £5 per class or free for AMC members, and free for members who have the dual package.

What is Boxburn?

This class is a mixture of boxing, HIIT and weight training built to improve your fitness and boxing! This type of workout keeps your heart rate high and is aim towards fat loss and weight loss.

Sparring

What is sparring?

Put your skills to the test at our sparring classes.

You'll be doing a number of things, including circuits, punching and movement drills, technical sparring, conditioned sparring and open sparring.

Kids Boxing Class

What's involved?

Your kid will be taught the basics of boxing, from some of Scotlands best coaches, in a fun, safe enviroment.

Benefits

Improvesphysical and mental well being, cognitive functions, their strength, and also decreasing anger levels. Boxing will also help them learn discipline, develop social skills, and build confidence from an early age

Age range: 5-13YO

Price: £40 per month or £8 per session. Pay at entrance.

What is Upper body?

Strength training targeting the muscles groups that make up the upper body e.g chest, back & shoulders. Exercises will Include vertical and horizontal push & pull movements for example overhead press, bent over row and many more!

What is Intermediate Boxing?

Sparring. Tech sparring drills focusing on more advanced footwork punching techniques and levelling up your boxing ring craft. As well as working on different fighting stiles like counter punching, aggressor, and boxing a different punching ranges.

HYROX

What is HYROX?

A mixture of functional exercises and 1km runs! This tough workout will push you to your limits and allow you to become a fitter and stronger athlete during your HYROX sessions. A 50 minute class including 5 minute warm up and cool down and a 40 minute time cap on your chosen HYROX exercises for the session.

When: Mondays 6AM, 7:30PM. Fridays 7AM, 6:15PM

What is kids fitness class?

This is a kids fitness class aimed at getting kids performing high intensity circuit style workouts safely and also introducing them into a gym environment with tutorials in the main gym of how to perform exercises correctly and use machines safely.

What is Yoga?

The practice of yoga is an ancient form of exercise that involves the alignment of the body, the practice of breathing deeply, and the practice of physical poses.
